Eyvör - National Coordination Centre of Iceland (NCC-IS)
Eyvör NCC-IS is the National Coordination Centre of Iceland set up by Regulation (EU) 2021/887. It will act as a central point for the national and European cybersecurity community, disseminating relevant outcomes of the work of the NCC-Network and the European Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre (ECCC) at the national level.
Eyvör NCC-IS will support cybersecurity capacity building at national, regional, and local levels. It will coordinate participation of Icelandic stakeholders such as research entities, industries and the public sector and it will provide input to the activities of the ECCC.
The value of Eyvör NCC-IS is that we believe in supporting the public and private sector through collaboration of the cybersecurity society that drives uptake, innovation, and knowledge transfer in the field. We have a clear vision in that we aim to position Icelandic companies, universities, and researchers among the world leading figures in the field of cybersecurity.
Eyvör NCC-IS has the necessary administrative capacity, has access to cybersecurity industrial, technological and research expertise and is in the position to effectively engage and coordinate with the industry, the public sector, and the research community.

Steering Board
A group from all consortium members. The Steering Board meets once per month to discuss consortium matters. Minutes of Meetings are made after each meeting and approved by Steering Board members. The status of the project is discussed as well as financial support to third party grants.
Advisory Group
A group from the Icelandic cybersecurity society, which gives advice to Eyvör NCC-IS on the needs, policies, and advancement in cybersecurity. These entities can hire foreign experts for planning etc. The group reports to Auðna and it meets at least twice per year.
