Increased Use of Renewable Energy Encouraged at an OSCE meeting in Prague.
Energy security and digital development were the main topics at the third and last meeting of the Economic and Environmental Forum in Prague, Czech Republic, 11–13 September 2019 under the headline “Promoting economic progress and security in the OSCE area through energy cooperation, new technologies, good governance and connectivity in the digital era”. The Permanent Representative of Iceland to the OSCE, Guðni Bragason, welcomed the discussion on these topics and called for increased use of renewable energy sources, especially for the use of geothermal energy
