Iceland opens for citizens and permanent residents of Canada

Canadian citizens and those with permanent residence status in Canada will be welcome to Iceland from tomorrow, 15 July. Only individuals travelling directly from Canada will be admitted but transit through an airport in another country will be considered direct travel. Please note that regulations regarding Schengen visas still apply.

On arrival travellers have a choice between getting tested for COVID-19 and going into 14 days quarantine. There is a fee charged for each test.
