Ambassador of Iceland presents copies of credentials to Russian First Deputy Foreign Minister
On 27 August, Ambassador Arni Thor Sigurdsson presented copies of his credentials to Vladimir G. Titov, First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Russia.
During their meeting they discussed bilateral relations in the fields of trade, culture and politics. The topics of discussion also included the cooperation between Iceland and Russia in Arctic affairs and the upcoming Russian chairmanship of the Arctic council in 2021, last year's visit of the Foreign Minister of Iceland to Moscow, the newly established Russian-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce, upcoming cultural events and bilateral visits.
