Yesterday, the Embassy of Iceland was illuminated in an orange glow in support to ending violence against women. According to the “world health organization” 1 in 3 women worldwide have been subjected to physical and or sexual intimate partner violence or non-partner sexual violence in their lifetime. Women’s rights are vital part of Iceland’s foreign policy and we will continue to work on the issue in corporation with our Chinese partners.
