Ambassador's meeting with Mr.Chen Ning Deputy Director General of MOFCOM

Ambassador Thorir Ibsen participated in an online meeting with CHEN Ning, Deputy Director General, at the Department of International Trade & Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Finance and Commerce of China, today. A number of issues were discussed between the two sides concerning bilateral trade, the FTA aggreement, customs cooperation, rules of origin, the facilitation of business travel and tourism and the negative impact of COVID measures on trade. Both sides agreed to stay in contact and work on the issues and facilitate upcoming meetings around trade and economic cooperation, to be held in China and Iceland.
