Ambassador Thorir Ibsen Presented His Credentials

Ambassador Thorir Ibsen presented his credentials to President Xi Jinping, at the Great Hall of the People, on the 24th of April 2023, in Beijing.

Ambassador Thorir Ibsen arrived in Beijing in August 2021 and took up his duties as Ambassador of Iceland after presenting a copy of his credentials to the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People´s Republic of China. However, due to pandemic related restrictions the formal presentation of credentials was postponed until this month.
