French-Icelandic exchange on the digitalization of public services and administration

Unnur Orradóttir Ramette, Ambassador of Iceland to France, addressed participants in a French-Icelandic exchange on the digitalization of public services and administration in the Assemblée Nationale in Paris last Friday, September 29th. The event organized by the French-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce (FRÍS) and hosted by congresswoman Marie Lebec, gathered government representatives, members of the French Parliament and private companies from France and Iceland to present the ongoing work on digitalization in the public sector and to discuss potential opportunities for cooperation.

Iceland´s digital public service and innovation led by Digital Iceland, a public body, ranks 4th in Europe for digital innovation in the European Commission´s eGovernment Benchmark for the year 2022.
