Statements at the 43rd session of the Human Rights Council

During each session Iceland delivers a number of statements on issues ranging from the human rights situation in individual countries to thematic issues. Those statements can be found below:

In the Human Rights Council Iceland also works closely with the Nordic countries, as well as the Baltic countries (so called NB8 group). Additionally Iceland is part of the so-called Mountains group which in addition to Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Australia, Canada and New Zealand belong to.
