The President approves of the Prime Minister's second government

At a meeting of the State Council of Iceland at Bessastaðir today President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson agreed to the proposal of Mrs. Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir, regarding the formation and composition of her second government. It will be as follows:

Prime Minister: Mrs. Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir
Minister of Finance: Mr. Steingrímur J. Sigfússon
Minister for Foreign Affairs: Mr. Össur Skarphéðinsson
Minister of Transport and Communications: Mr. Kristján L. Möller
Minister of Health: Mr. Ögmundur Jónasson
Minister of Education, Science and Culture: Mrs. Katrín Jakobsdóttir
Minister of Business Affairs: Mr. Gylfi Magnússon
Minister of Justice and Ecclesiastical Affairs: Mrs. Ragna Árnadóttir
Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture: Mr. Jón Bjarnason
Minister of Industry: Mrs. Katrín Júlíusdóttir
Minister of Social Affairs: Mr. Árni Páll Árnason
