Iceland's Foreign Minister supports IWC appeal of an immediate stop to military action in Gaza

Ingibjörg Sólrún Gísladóttir, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iceland, and honorary member of the International Women’s Commission (IWC) for a Just and Sustainable Palestinian-Israeli Peace, encourages the general public, governments, international organizations, the media and other interested parties to pay attention to the following press-release issued by the IWC in regard to the Israeli military action in Gaza.

The Icelandic Foreign Minister supports IWC’s appeal of an immediate stop to the military action and the appeal for the resumption of peace negotiations that must include members of the IWC since the organization represents women from both the Palestine and Israel.
