Iceland invites the OSCE to observe elections

The Icelandic delegation to the Organizsation for Security and co-operation in Europe, OSCE, in Vienna has invited the organization to observe the early, parliamentary elections, planned for this spring. All participating States of the OSCE are committed to invite the organization to observe parliamentary and presidential elections.

It is not clear whether the OSCE will observe the elections. The Icleandic authorities will confirm the date, now set for 25 April, once the election has been formally called.
