Iceland participates in the monitoring of the first round of the Ukraine presidential elections.

The Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA) sent two short term observers to participate in the election monitoring of the Ukraine presidential elections, taking place on 31st March 2019. The monitoring was carried out by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). The Icelandic monitors were Steinunn Anna Hannesdóttir and Ragnar Þorvarðarson.
