Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs visits Iceland

Dr. Riad Malki, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, will visit Iceland on 14-16 December 2011 on the invitation of Foreign Minister Össur Skarphéðinsson. During the visit Foreign Minister Malki will meet with Prime Minister Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir, as well as Foreign Minister Skarphéðinsson. Dr. Malki will visit Althingi, the Icelandic Parliament and meet with members of the Foreign Affairs Committee. Furthermore, the Palestinian Foreign Minister will meet with Mr. Jón Gnarr, the Mayor of Reykjavík. On Thursday 15 December Dr. Malki will give a lecture hosted by the Institute of International Affairs of the University of Iceland, which will be held at the Nordic House at 14:45.
