80th Anniversary of the Republic Celebrated in Mumbai.

The 80th anniversary of the Republic of Iceland was celebrated in an event in Mumbai on 3 July by the Consul General of Iceland in the city, Mr Gul Kripalani, and the Embassy in Delhi. Ambassador Guðni Bragason addressed the reception, which was attended by people from business, culture and politics in the city. He delivered greetings from the President of Iceland. He also discussed important aspects of relations between the two countries, mentioning in particular the free trade agreement between the EFTA states and India, which was signed in March this year.
