The Consulate General will be closed for general traffic due to COVID-19 from 23 March

The office of the Consulate General of Iceland in New York will be closed for general traffic due to COVID-19 from 23 March.  We will be issuing emergency passports for Icelandic citizens, but not processing regular passport applications.

The switchboard will be open from 9am to 5pm during weekdays and office staff members can be reached as well via email at [email protected]. For travel advice etc. you can as well contact the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Iceland at [email protected] or by sending a message through the ministry Facebook site.
