Geotropy Signs an Agreement with Himachal Pradesh.

A delegation from Iceland headed by Ambassador Guðni Bragason met with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh of Himachal Pradesh on 18th November 2023 in Shimla. At a meeting with Chief Minister Skuvinder Singh an agreement was signed by Mr Tómas Hansson, Chairman of the Icelandic energy company Geotropy and Mr Sudesh Mokhta, MD of Himachal Pradesh Horticutural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation Ltd (HPMC), on utilisation rights in the on-going geothermal agricultural cold storage project in the Kinnaur valley, using geothermal energy to preserve the fruit production food, especially apples. The agreement takes the project further in serving its purpose of strengthening the food security in the area. The Icelandic delegation included Dr. Vijay Chauhan framkvæmdastjóra Geotropy, Mr Rajeev Project Manager of Geotropy and Mr Rahul Chongtham Trade Counselor of the Icelandic Embassy.
