Iceland emphasized the importance of the freedom of expression, UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security and the rights of LGBTI persons.
In his address at the Human Dimension Implementation Meeting in Warsaw on 16 September 2019, the Permanent Representative of Iceland, Mr. Guðni Bragason, emphasized the importance of the freedom of expression, UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security and the rights of LGBTI persons. The annual meeting, held by ODIHR, is the most important human rights conference in Europe, bringing to the table representatives of OSCE participating states and civil society. The meeting was opened by the distinguished key-note Speaker, H.E. Lech Walesa, former President of Poland.
