Meeting with MOFCOM
The meeting was used to discuss the development of bilateral trade between Iceland and China, particularly in connection with the countries bilateral Free Trade Agreement (FTA). This year marks the 10th anniversary of the implementation of the FTA. The past decade has seen a steady increase in trade between the two countries. Both parties agree that there is further opportunity to better implement and even expand on the scope of the FTA. This year’s anniversary offers a unique occasion to reflect and prepare for another decade of good bilateral trade relations.
