The Icelandic Foreign Service - New Website

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs has opened a new portal at www.iceland.org for the Icelandic Foreign Service’s websites. Furthermore, www.iceland.is - a general information site on Iceland, its nature, society and people - has been re-designed and updated.

Iceland’s Diplomatic Missions’ websites were first opened in 2000 and 2001 and have proved to be an important and valuable tool for providing information on Iceland and the Icelandic Foreign Service. Today’s re-opening of www.iceland.org marks the beginning of an effort to re-design and modernize the Foreign Service’s representation on the web. In this first phase new websites have been opened at Iceland’s embassies in Copenhagen (www.iceland.org/dk/) and Stockholm (www.iceland.org/se/) and others will follow shortly.
