Exercise Dynamic Mongoose concludes with a port visit in Reykjavík
MARCOMThe Anti-Submarine Warfare exercise Dynamic Mongoose 2023 took place in the seas between Iceland and Norway from 24 April to May 5. The exercise is led by NATO and this year Iceland served as the primary host nation.
Five of the participating ships have now arrived in the port of Reykjavík, including the group's flagship the German frigate Mecklenburg Vorpommern. In addition to ships from the Standing Maritime Group, the British frigate HMS Northumberland is also in port in Reykjavik after participating in the exercise.
