Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Iceland Visited Shanghai

Ms. Inga Petursdottir, Deputy Head of Mission (DHoM) of the Embassy of Iceland, recently attended the Nordic Business Roundtable with Vice Minister of Commerce Lin Ji and Madam Chen Ping from Hubei Province, where they had productive and candid discussions.

Ms. Inga Petursdottir also attended the launch of the 10th edition of Ossur’s prosthetic foot in China, a powerful example of technology and innovation that enhances lives worldwide. Meeting Ossur's new ambassador, Liu Meng, was truly inspiring. It was also fantastic to see so many Icelandic companies represented at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) — the largest import expo in China. Navigating the Expo's vast space with 10,000 attendees was overwhelming yet rewarding, especially when connecting with motivated sales teams from Icelandic companies such as Omnom, Kavita, and Controlant, who are venturing into the Chinese market, a dynamic landscape with an impressive 700 million middle-class consumers.
